Last weekend I attended a beautiful wedding at Coombe Lodge near Bristol and I'm still glowing from being able to be part of such a magical day. The sun was shining, prosecco and champagne flowing and happiness was present in abundance. I thought the wedding was a perfect opportunity for my first ever outfit post here on Rachel-Emily. I found the idea of posing for outfit photos incredibly daunting but at the wedding I knew multiple photos would be taken anyway so hoped *fingers crossed* that I would be able to do my gorgeous dress justice. I probably need to work on my poses though!
So after spending hours looking for a gorgeous dress and even compiling the wedding guest edit I think I managed to pick a winner. I loved the pattern which was so flattering due to it's placement and the bardot neckline made me feel really elegant. In practicality, the dress is extremely hard to drive in and to toast in due to restricted movement of the arms. Think Impulse deodorant advert where they all look ridiculous for not lifting their arms. The dress was so gorgeous though that I was more than willing to sacrifice this for fashion and I got loads of compliments on it.
Accessories wise I picked up a pearlescent mock croc bag, nude suede pointed heels, dainty jewellery and as it was a glorious day sunglasses were a must. As this is my first ever outfit post I would love to hear any tips and comments from you. I'm keen to do more of these and feedback would be appreciated. Do you have any weddings coming up this year? I still have at least another two!
Love Rachel x
