I've long been a fan of Clinique make up and skin care so when I heard about the Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick I knew I'd just have to try it so I decided to take it on the ultimate road test - to Glastonbury Festival. I knew if it could prove itself there it would work anywhere.
The foundation applies like a crayon which can then be blended in with a brush or sponge. This for me was a total game changer and I love the fact you can get creative and draw all over your face. I could carry the foundation around in my bag easily without panicking that it was going to leak all over the inside and also apply it on the go with minimal mess.
It provides good coverage, has a nice texture and didn't dry out my skin during the day. It also has durability and lasted well without gathering in creases or patches. Over the 5 days I used it at Glastonbury I used it as a foundation, concealer (for those massive bags under my eyes) and for touch ups. You can also build the coverage with it to create the coverage and look you desire but I would probably class it as a light to medium coverage over all. Since Glastonbury it has made a permanent appearance in my make up bag and has survived sweaty London tube commutes and being caught in the British summer downpours.
(Please excuse my chapped lips - I'm having a nightmare with them at the moment - suggestions welcome for this) |
