Skincare is always top of my beauty regime and it's to one thing I will always find time to look after even on the laziest of days. There is nothing more satisfying than having 30 minutes to myself to just lie back and enjoy a good face mask and the GlamGlow GravityMud does not disappoint.
GlamGlow is a brand that I had heard murmurs about but as I couldn't just spontaneously pick it up in the shop it took me longer than normal to bite the bullet and purchase a pot to try. I signed up to their newsletter, in the hope of a cheeky first order discount, and ended up signing up just before the launch of their limited edition blue Sonic the Hedgehog GravityMud mask so when the launch email came through I had added the mask to my basket and checked out faster than Usain Bolt. Now it's going to be a permanent product in my skincare regime and I'm really looking forward to using the normal edition which goes from white to chrome on your face.
The GlamGlow website quotes that this product is "an Out of this World Innovative Peel Off Mud treatment that instantly leaves skin feeling firmer and more lifted. Mega-Targeted ingredients transform from white to brilliant chrome, delivering toned-looking, sexy contours. Powered by TEAOXI Marshmallow + Licorice Leaf" and I am all for sexy contours and quite frankly marshmallow too. The mask comes with an applicator brush and I would recommend applying a generous layer all over to allow for an easy peel at the end as when it's too thin it can break in places. I would also recommend staying away from any hairs which could get stuck in the peel. After 20-30 minutes the mask is peeled away from the skin easily and leaves a pleasant tingly feeling and ridiculously soft skin. My skin does feel lifted and toned and after using this for the first time, I got J involved too, we both got compliments on our skin which always boosts my confidence, both in myself and the product.
Since purchasing GravityMud at the end of Feb I have noticed that it's now available in my local boots which is uber handy but it can also be purchased online too, here, and when I ordered online I also got lots of nice samples of their other famous muds and masks to try.
