Morning Everyone,

I hope you had an amazing Christmas, I know I certainly did and I'm 100% about 5kg heavier too from all the cheese, chocolate and wine. I thought I'd do a little post from 2018 looking back on some of the out-takes from the shoots I've done which may or may not have made it to the gram or blog.

Looking back at the past twelve months I feel like while it may not have been my best year ever as I set out in this time last years post, it was certainly a game changer.

I went on my first ever ski trip.
I got my first pair of Pointe Shoes
I really started to love instagram again after falling out of love with it.
I moved into my first ever home that I own.
I finished my 3rd year of study and my first year of UWE with a bloody first.
I started the Influencer Collective with the amazing Katie & Lois.
I tried to put a positive outlook on everything even in some darker times.
I gave blood twice.
I went to see live music/concerts 8 times.
I won an award at work throughout the entire division of the business.
Oh and I got a puppy. He's called Ernest and I'm totally in love.

I set myself 4 mini personal goals for 2018 which I achieved 50%. I am still classing doing my eye make up as one solid sweep of colour and I can't french braid my hair. I can messy bun though and my skincare regime is SO much better thanks to many factors - post coming soon.

So each year I set myself some magic numbers and goals to achieve as a blogger which over the course of 2018 changed.

I kinda left behind twitter as it wasn't a platform I enjoyed. I also left behind my facebook page because I only got it to have a business account on Instagram.

However, I fell in love with instagram again after our little lover's tiff mid-year and I really pushed myself with Pinterest.

Magic Numbers

Set for 2018:

Instagram: 1,500
Twitter: 1,000
Facebook: 500
Pinterest: 500
Bloglovin': 400

Achieved Figures:
Instagram: 2,272
Twitter: 656
Facebook: 133
Pinterest: 141 (but 40k monthly views)
Bloglovin': 234

I think the biggest lesson I learnt in 2018 though is that numbers are not as relevant or important as I thought. The real focus should be engagement, content and most importantly enjoyment of what you do.

I hope you all have an amazing New Year's Eve whether you're watching fireworks, going out, seeing friends or just sitting on the sofa with Netflix - however you want to celebrate, you do you.

See you in 2019!
