I'm not sure if it's just me as well, but as soon as the autumn leaves have fallen from the trees, swimwear just magically disappears from sale, making the search for a great new bikini that little bit harder.
Now if you've followed me for a while you'll know that I love a winter holiday. Think tropical Caribbean shores, UK stay-cations with Jacuzzi's or spa's and ski holidays with sauna's to ease the aches of snow ploughing all day. And yes I'm really that bad at skiing that I have to snow plough. Each time I like to treat myself to a new bikini/swimsuit.
Now to me, higher priced swimwear really makes a difference. Whether you're poolside, cocktail in hand, or relaxing those muscles in the sauna when you're in a bikini you often feel your most vulnerable in a public place. This is where you want all the support and flattery you can possibly get from your bikini. In steps UK Swimwear. Not only do they have loads of gorgeous bikini's to choose from all year round, but their selection has something for everyone. It's on their website that I discovered Watercult, which it turns out is a swimwear brand that I didn't even know I was in love with until I came across it on their site.
As we all know i'm a member of the itty bitty titty committee, and I used to only grab the padded, push up, make it look like there is something there bikinis, but as I've got older I've come to accept and love the fact that I have to embrace what my momma gave me, you can read about that here if you should so wish.
This Watercult Bikini does exactly that. The simple triangle style will never go out of style. It's the trench coat of the swimwear world. The tassle details can be worn either at the front, or the triangles shifted on the strings so that they tie at the back. The triangle design flatters my wider shoulders with the cute adjustable side brief making sure that there are no muffins on display.
This post features a bikini which was gifted to me by UK Swimwear. All other items shown were purchased by me. All thoughts and opinions are genuine and my own.
