Lifestyle | The Most Instagrammable places in Bristol

Rachel Emily sat under a tiger mural on North Street, Bedminster, Bristol in casual jeans and a t-shirt

Title Image Location: North Street, Bedminster

Bristol is a city that I just can't help falling in love with on repeat. While I love to travel when I can there is something satisfying about being in the city that I love and get to call home. I mean it was voted Best Place in Britain to Live by the Sunday Times too in 2017. It's still awesome too. So here's my little guide of some of the most beautiful and square-worthy places in the city.

The Florist, Park Street

Since it opened, The Florist has very quickly saturated instagram with it's slogan walls, floral interiors and sunlight filled orangery. Not only are the interiors beautiful but the cocktails are amazing - my personal favourite is Rhubarb in Bloom.

Victoria Rooms, Queens Road

On a sunny day you could be tricked into thinking you were in a piazza in Italy sitting outside the Victoria Rooms on Queens Road. The stunning architecture makes this place a city-chic stop for an instagram snap and there are some amazing cafe's nearby where you can pick up a drink or a bite to eat to enjoy in this gorgeous setting.

Clifton Wood

Bristol is known for it's multi-coloured houses and in Clifton Wood they don't disappoint. Even on a grey day they will instantly lift your mood. Shoot one for a pastel pop to your feed or shoot them all to add the rainbow.

The Ivy Brasserie, Clifton

The Ivy in Clifton is part of the well-known instagram friendly chain with brasserie's in London and Bath too. You'll find luxurious decor, seasonal floral entrances and the most decadent, indulgent and down right delicious puddings. And brunch is also well worth a visit.

Millenium Square

Millenium square is just off the Harbourside but with all it's water, mirrored surfaces and the frequent fun fair there's always something to photograph. Currently there is a mural featuring a remake of the Jaws poster by local artist Jody highlighting plastic pollution in our oceans that is worth a visit.

Clifton Suspension Bridge

It's a Bristol icon, so it just had to make the list. And seeing as the hot air balloons weren't flying I decided to bring my own. Thank you Brunel.

North Street, Bedminster

North Street and the surrounding area are home to upfest a street art festival so the murals here change regularly meaning there is always something else to see and they are always colourful, thought provoking and fun. You can also grab some great food and drink here too.

Brandon Hill

Maybe one of the best secrets of Bristol? Seeing as I didn't know it existed until I was 26 and I'd lived in the city for 25 of those years. Tucked away behind the bustle of Park Street is Brandon Tower on Brandon Hill. It offers fantastic views across the city, a rapunzel moment if you go to the top of the tower, and come during the balloon fiesta and you might just be lucky enough to capture some hot air balloons too.

There are so many other places that I could have featured, but I kept it to my current favourites. Have you got a favourite spot to shoot? Let me know in the comments.
